Turmeric Dyed Easter Eggs
3.26.16

Last year, we had so much fun dyeing easter eggs with all sorts of natural shades from vegetables and herbs. You just can't go wrong with non-toxic, natural colorants! This year, we decided to stick to one of our favorites - turmeric (yes, our cheery yellow onesies are hand-dyed in this magical, wellness herb) It has anti-bacterial properties, and is a great non-toxic colorant. For dyeing easter eggs, you can use the ground turmeric root available in powdered form in the spice section of your market. Our 3 year old, Nikhita, suggested adding stickers to the hard boiled eggs before dyeing them so we thought we'd give it a try, and it turned out perfect!
